Any other award show night, you would have found me in front of the TV watching the Red Carpet Live on E!, but last night, N + I headed over to a neighbors house to enjoy a home-cooked meal (& margs!) with some friends. Unfortunately, the Red Carpet was not the talk of the night. It was turned on & muted, but I found a way to get my fashion fix from the table, duh!
BEST DRESSED: Jennifer Garner & Naomi Watts
Jennifer Garners beautiful plum Gucci strapless dress was the perfect amount of business in the front + party in back (as tweeted by Fabulous K). I loved the simple diamond necklace that accompanied her dress perfectly.
Naomi Watts, was absolutely gorgeous in her Armanin Prive gown. This blue & silver statement dress was the perfect amount of bold & her barely-there-shoulder + simple up-do made it classy.
UNIMPRESSED: Jennifer Aniston & Nicole Kidman
Jennifer Aniston's strapless Valentino dress + straight hair just did not do it for me. She is such a beautiful woman, but I feel like the dress & hair were a little too simple for the Oscars.
Nicole Kidman, oh my shimmer, eek! I am really not sure about this dress, period. Black + gold are such a fabulous color combination in my book, but with the odd shimmering & contouring of the dress, I kinda retract my love for black + gold.
CUTEST COUPLE: Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck
This couple seriously radiates with love. When Ben got up to do is statement speech, oh my heart. His honesty about (their) marriage truly makes him even more of a wonderful man, because no marriage/relationship is easy -- even for all those celebrities that claim it is. I commend them for working through their problems not only for themselves but for their three beautiful children.
BEST BABY BUMP: Jenna Dewan-Tatum, with hunk Channing Tatum
Ok, so I love baby bumps, like alot! So I could not include them! I mean, how friggin' cute are they? Channing he is a hunk all by himself, but the two of them put together is beautiful. Her baby bump was dressed in a lovely lace gown that was so becoming on her.
THE BEST VANITY FAIR PARTY DRESS: Diane Kruger
How stylish is this Giambattista Valli Couture dress that Diane Kruger is wearing with her Christian Louboutin shoes, Neil Lane jewels, and a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch? I am in love + want it all.

Naomi Watts - yes LOVED her style! I felt the same way about Jennifer Aniston - loved the color, not her hair or the shape of the dress.
I was so pleased to see J.A. in something other than black. I truly wasn't as impressed with anyone as I have been in the past... It was kinda a 'bla' year.
Jennifer Garner can do no wrong. She's such a natural beauty and so classy. Loved her dress!

I thought Jennifer Garner's dress was stunning on her. Loved that color. My verdict is still out on Naomi's dress. I like the risk she took with it though. I loved Amy Adam's dress. But I hated Anne Hathaway's dress.
My favorites were Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence and Keri Washington!

I LOVED Naomi Watts dress too. SO fabulous! And I'm right there with you on Jen Aniston and Nicole Kidman. I love Jen, but that dress was not the right choice. Glad to hear you and N had a nice night together with your new neighbhors even if you did have to miss out on the red carpet! :)
I loved Naomi Watts too - it was different but it wasn't weird, and it looked great on her! I liked Charlize Theron too!

I completely agree with Naomi Watts and Diane Kruger! They both looked flawless. I just couldn't get over how much I hated Anne Hathaway's ensemble... It was terrible!
I was also unimpressed with Jennifer Aniston. Loved Naomi Watts! And Channing Tatum & Jenna were adorable. I loved that she showed off her bump rather than hid it under flowy fabric
I adore Jen Gardner. People were saying they didn't like her dress but I loved it! Glad we agree!
And I love to hate Naomi...just because I love Joshua Jackson haha.
