Holiday Decor

I am pretty sure that I am 100% becoming my mother, not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is funny to think that just a few years ago I wasn't all that crazy about decorating the house for the Holidays. Now, I can't get e n o u g h. Finding the perfect wreath for the front door has been such a task this year, because I want something that is different from everyone else + is easy to pull out year after year. Since this year's color theme is full of gold, N + I grabbed this beautiful teardrop wreath with gold accents from Target & I absolutely LOVE it. & Last night, we finally made it to the store to pick up some more white lights to finish decorating the Christmas tree, since a couple days ago we ran out. We also found these cute Monogrammed Christmas Stockings at Target & they are only $13, score! They are currently hanging on our plantation shutters since we don't have a fireplace downstairs, ha! & one of my favorite things to do during the Christmas Holiday is wrap Christmas presents, like Ashley said in her post yesterday, I am not a fan of straight lines, actually they kinda make me mad, but I do love picking out the perfect wrapping paper, bows, ribbon & gift tags + decorating the giftbox itself #itsthelittlethings.

The Four Favorites link-up is held on Wednesdays and there aren't any rules, but we would really appreciate it if you followed both Kristin + I as well as our co-host Cara of The Marvelous Flight of Cara, as well as share the button on your Four Favorites post!

Four Favorites Linkup

Happy Thursday, sweet friends! Today I am sharing one of my favorite spaces in our home ... the living room! Now this little space is still a work in progress, but at the moment it is absolutely perfect for N & I. The color's of our walls throughout the house are various shades of grey, so in order for us to spruce up the dark walls & cappuccino floors we thought that a white leather couch would be the perfect addition.

Over the past few months, the room has finally started to come together by adding a fun rug that we found at home goods, modern coffee table & of course blankets + pillows. My favorite pieces in the room are from Pulp Designs Studio. When they offered to send us these beautiful modern artisan decorative bowls I knew that they would look perfect in this little space. The soothing color adds so much character to the room & they are my new favorite vase for my white hydrangeas!
