January Snapshots

January sure did fly by, but then again I think as I get older time seems to pass my by so quickly that I forget what day it is. Here are some insta-snapshots from January.

• Simple pleasures sure do help me get through the week -- like my Target + Sugarpaper LA planner, polka dot pencils & a fresh new mani!

• In the beginning of January, I got to spend a week with my best friend & her new little one. I am still over joyed that I was asked to be Hadley's Godmother.

• Snuggles with Tinsley can make anything & everything better. Her cute little face gets her out of trouble...daily!

• I searched high & low for the sold out Madewell flats & finally ... they became mine!

• Faith + I had a blast a couple weekends ago playing with cookies, champagne & tulle. I can't wait to share the final shoot with everyone.

• Bright colors have my grinning from ear to ear & seeing Pantone Universe at Lowe's was so much prettier in person.

• Pink + pearls go so perfectly together. I am loving my new monogrammed Jewelry Portfolio, perfect for traveling (use code LOVE15 for 15% off sitewide)!

• Need I say anything? Miss A loves her Bando pom pom flower.

• Comfy clothes from Shop RiffRaff & Aeropostale have made the past month of freezing cold temps bearable. Today we got some rain & I couldn't be more thank-ful.

• #bowontoes + retro tile floors go swell together.

• Stripes + brights are two of my favorite things. Especially this jeweled striped tee from J. Crew & Essie polish in 'tangerine'.

 • Chartreuse & any other shade of green has quickly become my new favorite color. Graphic Image NY's leather pouch is the perfect pop of color inside of my dull purse & Target's gingham button-ups are SO on point right now.

Good morning & Happy Autumn! I just wanted to drop in & say hi. Things have been crazy around these parts, so I am sorry for my lack of posts. I feel like there is never enough time in a day to get everything I want done, so ATM blogging is taking a back seat.

This past Thursday evening, I caught a plan home to drive down to Charleston, SC with my dad + brother for my cousins wedding this weekend. It was a weekend full of dancing, drinks & family time. Hard to believe that my cousin is married & currently on her honeymoon in St. Lucia (jelly!). It was nice to see my grandparents & I even got a dance in with my 86 year old Granddad. So sweet + a memory I will forever cherish.

The next month or so is going to be super crazy for me - I am not ready to go into details on the blog just yet, but please keep me in your thoughts + prayers (& please stick around this little ol' blog of mine!).

I hope you all have a darling Monday & update me on your lives, I wanna hear! :) xo

This past weekend I had the pleasure of joining 15 other amazing Southern Bloggers in Atlanta for the 1st Annual Southern Blog Society Brunch. & let me tell you, it was an absolute blast! Bright & early Saturday morning Cathy of Poor Little It Girl & I flew to Atlanta to be greeted by two classy ladies -- Mandy & Jessica.  We grabbed some lunch & relaxed for the afternoon.

I was blessed to be able to spend the weekend at Mandy's, curator behind Waiting On Martha. She was unbelievably hospitable & it was so nice to finally be able to meet this amazing woman IRL. Her home was gorgeous -- each room told it's own story. In the room where I was staying she put together a little treat & wrote me a sweet little note. It truly put a smile on my face.

This sweet thing in the picture above is Addison, Mandy's sweet pup. I seriously could not get enough of her cuddles & loved when she plopped on my bed to hang out.

Sunday came so quickly & it was more than amazing. We had some delicious food + some tasty sips while mingling with some fabulous ladies that we had been longing to meet IRL.

Cathy of Poor Little It Girl & Jessica of My Style Vita are the creators of the Southern Blog Society & these two fabulous ladies went over & beyond to make this event come to life. I truly admire their passion & kindness & am so happy that I got to know these ladies this past weekend.

Now Miss Julie Leah, my darling. She is the absolute sweetest & I am so excited that this girl will be in DC soon & I can not wait to hang out with her. If you don't read her blog, go now & say hi ... you won't regret it!

This is the sweet Mandy who so kindly put my up in her beautiful home. She became such a dear friend over the past weekend & truly enjoy our chats + girl time. I am (& N) are already looking forward to road tripping (gotta talk to our men!) with her & her sweet hubby Anthony. I am pretty sure N + Anthony are two peas in a pod. ha!
