Purse Diaries | District Sparkle

Hey there, lovebugs! I'm Meaghan from District Sparkle & I'm here to kick off my new series "Purse diaries" on Ash's blog today. I'd like to start by thanking this lovely lady for hosting me. If you follower her on Twitter you know that work life has been a bit crazy for our Virginia blogger & on top of all that stress she still manages to keep up with The Bachelorette & designates creative design time for her DC gal pal. I don't know how she does it all! I'm here today so our friend can take the much needed coffee break she deserves & to introduce you to the first bag in my "Purse diaries" series.

Here you have it. The innards of my bag. Girl's got some stuff. Alright, girl's got a lot of stuff. But sometimes this girl needs a screwdriver, a quick-dry top coat & a choice of 7 lip colors. You can't tell me you've never had one of those days.

Home Decor That Make A Statement

Hi lovely readers! It's Sara from High Fashion 4 Less and I couldn't be more thrilled to be making my first appearance on Let It Be Beautiful. My blog is a journal of my recent finds (and steals), sharing secrets with readers on how to attain a high fashionable look on an affordable budget. Not only does that apply to everyday fashion but also home decor. Ever since I moved to DC (2 years ago), I've been on the hunt for budget finds for my condo. My number one go-to spots in the city are Good Wood and Miss Pixies but when I'm not there, I'm scouring the Internets for affordable pieces that make a serious statement. Below are a few of my favorite must-have statement pieces for your home. Enjoy!

A big thanks to Ashlyn for having me here today:]

Season Trends

Hi bloggettes! Just wanted to stop in & say hi & give you a little update on my crazyyy week I had! Last Monday I started my general surgery rotation & I honestly didn't know what I was getting into. & let me tell you, I am already ready for this 4 week rotation to be OVER! Last week I worked 78 hours in 5 days & this week I will be working at least 85 hours. My day consists of waking up around 4/4:30 & ends around 6:30/7. Two days a week I am on-call, which means I work from 5am til about 11am the following day. When I do get home from working all I want to do is sleep. Last week I don't even think I opened my computer once! :/

One thing for sure: I will never have a career in general surgery!

I miss all of you ladies & hope to catch back on my blog reading soon! All of your encouraging emails, texts, tweets, & comments really make me smile & help get me through my day.

So please keep em' coming :] xx.

& today I have a wonderful friend, Rosa who is so kind to guest post for me. Please give her some love! xx.

Hi everyone! I'm Rosa Loves DC and I am so glad to be here at Let It Be Beautiful sharing some of my inspiration for spring.

Every season, I like to create collages to use as a guide when putting together outfits. J.Crew does such an incredible job styling outfits in both their catalog and their online look book, so it is safe to say that J.Crew is my place to go when looking for inspiration. This spring season is no different and I am loving all the bright colors as well as the pastels. What are your favorite trends of the season? Share in the comments.
