Holiday Decor

I am pretty sure that I am 100% becoming my mother, not that there is anything wrong with that, but it is funny to think that just a few years ago I wasn't all that crazy about decorating the house for the Holidays. Now, I can't get e n o u g h. Finding the perfect wreath for the front door has been such a task this year, because I want something that is different from everyone else + is easy to pull out year after year. Since this year's color theme is full of gold, N + I grabbed this beautiful teardrop wreath with gold accents from Target & I absolutely LOVE it. & Last night, we finally made it to the store to pick up some more white lights to finish decorating the Christmas tree, since a couple days ago we ran out. We also found these cute Monogrammed Christmas Stockings at Target & they are only $13, score! They are currently hanging on our plantation shutters since we don't have a fireplace downstairs, ha! & one of my favorite things to do during the Christmas Holiday is wrap Christmas presents, like Ashley said in her post yesterday, I am not a fan of straight lines, actually they kinda make me mad, but I do love picking out the perfect wrapping paper, bows, ribbon & gift tags + decorating the giftbox itself #itsthelittlethings.

The Four Favorites link-up is held on Wednesdays and there aren't any rules, but we would really appreciate it if you followed both Kristin + I as well as our co-host Cara of The Marvelous Flight of Cara, as well as share the button on your Four Favorites post!

Also, if you are interested in co-hosting + would like further information email ashlyn@letitbebeautiful.com + kristin@fancythingsblog.com! We would love to have you join in on the fun!

ON MY WISH LIST

The holidays are quickly approaching -- hard to believe Cyber Monday has already come + gone (well, except for the EXTENDED deals! & thank-goodness for those because I failed to find the time yesterday to purchase any gifts online!) I don't know about you but I am one of those that throughout the year makes a list of what I want for Christmas (in my mind, that is!) & then when the time comes to tell someone what I want - EPIC FAIL! I have the absolute worst time coming up with the list, or one that is truly my list!

But I am slowly building that list back up + one of my must have items on my wishlist, that I hope to get early *fingers crossed* is this bad boy! I am a nail-polish whore + why not add more to my collection! & is there even a better way then to open one each day before Christmas? c'mon, if you don't agree then we need to have a serious talk!

What do you think about this little caviar mini mani?

UPDATE: Sorry for being so MIA. Life lately has been CRAZY. I started a new rotation that is kicking my bootay & I recently moved in with my parents. & not to mention I have been trying to study + find time for myself all in the mix! I hope you all have a WONDERFUL Thanksgiving Holiday spent with family + friends! Mine was exactly what I needed + so sad it went by so quickly. I hope to be back to a regular blogging schedule soon, but I can't make any promises.

BUT I do have a December Series starting on Friday called 12 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS WISHES! Be sure to stop by to see what some of your favorite bloggers have on their wishlists this Holiday Season.

Merry Christmas.

I can't believe the day is already here -- 2011 has truly flown by! I hope every single one of you has a lovely Christmas spent with family & friends // I hope it is filled with lots of yummy food, old-classic Christmas movies, cuddling by the couch with your special someone, family time, & of course everything that was on your Christmas list for Santa ;]

Merry Christmas from me to you.

xoxo. ashlyn
