Christmas Wish List

Happy 1 week until Christmas Eve! EEK - I am soooo excited. This year has been very different then the past because I have yet to put together a Christmas list for my parents or my boyfriend. I also, didn't feel it was necessary to put together a bajillion & one gift guides because there are enough of those in blogland to go around for the next 365 days, but that is besides the point. Today, Four Favorites is all about the Christmas Wishlist & finally I get to share a few items with you all (& N - since I already emailed him blog post!).

+ I am dying to complete my office & this White Faux Taxidermy Large Moose Mount has been on my wish list since I can remember (so hopefully I score one for Christmas!).

+ Estee Lauder has out done themselves with their amazing new perfume, Modern Muse, not only with the amazing smell, but also the design of the bottle. I have been living off samples that I have scored from Macy's + Nordstrom's (sorry!).

+ The J. Crew Etta Pump in Chocolate Leopard is a NEED (not a want). I finally tried these on the other day & I am smitten I tell you. (& they are 30% off with the code GIFTNOW)

+ I recently signed up to do the Rock & Roll Half Marathon in March & I am super stoked about it. It will be almost 3 years to the day that I ran my last Marathon & I just started training with me neighbor. I have had my eye on the Fit Bit Flex Wireless Band for some time, but now that I am starting to train it has moved on up on this wishlist.

Four Favorites Linkup

Merry Berry Christmas, Sugar!

One of my favorite things about the Holidays ar the Holiday Drinks. I absolutely love sipping on something taste-y while mingling with friends or watching my favorite Christmas movie (like Home Alone or The Holiday!). Sipping on something simple + sweet is always a good idea. Tiziano Wine sent me a bottle of Prosecco & I wanted to create a fun + simple Holiday drink that I could share with you all. I came across this recipe (sans alcohol) & decided to mix it up a bit. I kept all the main ingredients the same, but substituted the water for Prosecco & cut back on the agave nectar. This simple Holiday drink turned out fabulous & it is def. going to be making another appearance this Holiday season. Let me know what you think, if you end up giving this Merry Berry Christmas, Sugar drink a whirl! xo

Did you know Christmas is in 9 days? That seems absolutely crazy to me. It feels just like yesterday that it was the beginning of Fall. ATM Holiday parties seem to be never ending for me + N (& they get to be rather expensive, especially if you feel the need to have a different outfit at each one). I tend to always grab the same ol' things to wear, so I decided to go a little bit out of my comfort zone & rock a gold glitter skirt, Kate Spade polka dot tights, black Dor'say heels, a cute blazer, & of course some sparkle! This outfit can easily be thrown together since most of us all have a cute black blouse, a black blazer + a black heel in our closet. To add the pop of gold + glitter to complete this Holiday look, was all under $60 (skirt $34 + Kate Spade polka dot tights $25). To get good wear out of the gold skirt at other Holiday parties you can add a red or green blouse & a plain black tight. Or you can pair it with an ugly Christmas sweater & you are set for your next Holiday party! If you are looking for more affordable Holiday Party ideas head over to one of the 7 bloggers listed below for more outfit inspiration! Enjoy your Monday! xo
