A Parisian Saturday Morning

Pretty Diptyque Products

This past Saturday, Faith & I had the opportunity to host an intimate event with Nordstrom Pentagon City, the Diptyque team & some lovely DC bloggers. The entire morning was absolutely perfect, starting with a complimentary coffee from the Nordstrom Cafe to the amazing Parisian goodies that we each left with. We learned so much about the Parisian brand & all the different products they have to offer.

Diptyque Candles

Nordstrom Pentagon City just recently started carrying Diptyque in their store & had the most gorgeous counter installed in the cosmetics department. Their brand is well known for their one-of-a-kind candles, but they offer beauty products, room diffusers, oils & more. Their fragrances are exceptional in that they smell unlike any other product that's out there and each of their unique scents take you away to an exotic place that is unlike any place you've been before.

Do you have any favorite Diptyque products?

*Thank you Nordstrom Pentagon City + the Diptyque Team for an amazing Saturday. All products c/o Nordstrom + Diptyque. As always opinions are my own. Thanks for supporting the brands the help Let It Be Beautiful shine.

February Beauty Favorites

Another month down, another Beauty Favorites round up! February was all about pretty palettes + amazing blushes & products I can't live without. Have you tried any of these products? & Let me know what you are loving this month too in the comments! xo

Stila 'Nouveau Natural Eye Palette'*: There are so many amazing things about this palette! The packaging is absolutely gorgeous. The quality of the shadows are top notch. The color palette is by far one of my favorites that I have ever owned with its ability to create a soft smokey eye or an easy day time look that is bound to get noticed. Def. one of my favorites this month!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz: I don't know how I ever lived without this. Seriously, Faith talked about this over + over + over again & I just thought it was like any other brow pencil, but man was I wrong!! This pencil offers a natural polished look that last ALL day long. It is super easy to apply & easy to manipulate if you mess up or need to fix. The only down fall is it runs down rather quickly. I have only had this since the beginning of February & will need to purchase a new one here soon.

NARS Blush 'Reckless': Aye Aye Aye! I have never loved a blush more then this one. I have used this bad boy to highlight my cheekbones EVERY single day since I purchased it at the beginning of February. I love the soft subtle shimmer & how feminine it makes me feel when I use it.

BareMinerals Complexion Rescue Foundation*: INCREDIBLE! When I put this foundation on it's like I have nothing on my face but I still get amazing coverage that I am looking for. I use my fingers to blend it in & if I want extra coverage I apply another layer. My favorite thing about this product is the radiant, soft, smooth looking complexion is creates without making my skin oily.

Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush: I love adding a pop of pink to my cheeks bones & this cream blush has quickly become a daily favorite of mine. It's easy to apply & super blendable.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette:  This palette is super flattering & all three shades offer a different multidimensional luminous look when applied to the cheek bones. I especially love Incandescent Light, which is exclusive to this palette.

Honest Hazel Eye Gels: My eyes need a nightly pick-me-up almost daily & these under eye gels are pretty much the coolest thing since sliced bread. I throw them in the fridge for about 20-30 minutes before I want to use them & stick them under my eyes right before I go to bed. I typically fall asleep with them on & when I wake up in the morning my under eyes are refreshed, a little less puffy & more firm.

Marc Jacobs Le Marc Lipstick: This super rich velvety lipstick delivers the most amazing amount of pigment. It goes on super smooth & leaves my lips feeling extra hydrated.

Sigma Beauty Brush: I LOVE this brush! I use it for just about everything - applying foundation, blush, and powder. The angle of the brush helps with the application of the products by allowing a more precise application to hard to get areas. Plus the quality of the brush is impeccable.

Tom Ford Spring 2015

Tom Ford decided to step outside of the box this Spring & instead of the soft nude tones, he went for bold dark shades. The Tom Ford Spring collection offers three gorgeous shades to choose from: plum, jade & indigo blue. Brave I must say & these colors are that dark, bold & classic. These hues will carry you through the remainder of Winter & straight into Spring.

Nail Polish

This bold vampy nail color is dark. I find that it can be a bit tricky to paint your own nails with because of the long bristles, but I do like the quality of the varnish.

Still testing this bad boy out. I love the quality of their mascara, but I am not sure how I feel about colored mascara. It does pair nicely with my green eyes.

I love this color pairing: The light green is perfect for covering the entire eye & highlighting the upper portion & the the dark forest green is great for building a smokey eye.

Are you a fan of these dark shades for Spring? & What's your favorite? & Head on over to Faith's blog to check out some of the other shade's mentioned in this post.

These Tom Ford products were provided as PR samples, but as always all opinions are my own. Thank you for supporting the brands that help Let It Be Beautiful shine.
