As we gear up to ring the New Year in with a bang, let's talk about what really matters most. A) What you are wearing when the ball drops & B) What your makeup will look like. I mean come on, that's the most important part of the entire evening, right? Ok, well maybe the champagne & dancing on tables with your best friend is most important, but what sparkly outfit I wear & what makeup I end going with is not far behind. & I am still undecided on what I am going to wear tonight, but atleast I know how I am going to do my makeup. ha! For Christmas Eve, I went with a classic red lip & red nail polish, with a subtle eye. For New Year's Eve, I am still going for the classic red lip, but the eyes are going to be a little more bold & sparkly (of course!).
I recently started using the Estee Lauder Perfectionist Foundation & let me just say, this stuff is AMAZING & worth giving it a try. The sculpting brush is probably the best invention ever. You have to try it out to know what I am talking about.
I tried Faith's red lipliner a couple weeks ago & knew I had to get one for myself. Pairing it with a bold rep lip color like Carnal from Estee Lauder is ideal for helping secure your lip color throughout the evening.
The smokey eye look will be a mixture of subtle nudes & this rich navy Bobbi Brown shadow paired with deep heather grey sparkle. To complete the smokey eye look, I will use my current favorite mascara by Lancome & the new Estee Lauder double wear stay-in-place eye pencil in sapphire. I am really excited to try out this look!
What do you plan on doing for your New Years Eve makeup? & May your 2015 be amazing! Love you all! xoxo
