First of all, this is the first time (& probably the only time) the internet will see my face san makeup. Most of the time, I don't wear makeup but there is just something about having my face on the internet in my worst state (aka pale & blemishes all over!). Anywho, when Sam asked me what I wanted my makeover to focus on, I immediately said my eyes. I feel like my eyes are my biggest attribute to my face & over the years I have learned to love my big eyes.
I feel that eyebrows can truly make or break a look. I have tried so many products & have watched so many youtube videos on how I can shape my eyebrows, make them look fuller & give them an arch without having to be a professional makeup artist. She used multiple products & she really took the time to show & explain to me how I can get the desired eyebrow that I was looking for.
To complete my look, I used my favorite ghd hair straightener. Over the past many years, I have tried pretty much every hair straightener on the market from Paul Mitchell, Chi, & Jose Eber, but this one by far surpasses them all & here's why:
1. Within 30 seconds of turning on the flat iron, you will hear a beep & a red light will turn on indicating that it is ready for use!
2. Unlike many other flat irons, the heat produced by the ghd hair straightener allows me to straighten my hair in one swoop. I don't have to keep going back over the same sections of hair.
3. There is a nice long power cord & it is super light weight.
You might remember these two outfit posts HERE & HERE. I took these shots with Faith right after we got our makeup done by Sam. I really loved how the makeup complimented my outfit, especially the Floral Lace outfit. Overall, I had a wonderful Saturday enjoying the company of two wonderful girls, while getting my makeup done.
