This has been the summer of weddings & even tho I wish it was my wedding that I was celebrating (shhh. don't tell N), I absolutely LOVE being one of the guest. I am the girl that has to bring a box of tissues because I ALWAYS getting teary-eyed. I get choked up as they walk down the aisle, when their saying their vowels & especially when they say I-do. I am THAT girl. There is no hiding the fact that I love a good ol' wedding or the fact that I am ready to tie my own knot (hint hint!). But that is besides the point, right?
Sometimes, I feel like the hardest thing about being a wedding guest is trying to find the right attire to wear. There are all these "said rules" about what you can + can not wear.... Like no ivory or white, no neons, no black & no long lace gowns - you get the point! I def. think that weddings have way less tradition then they use to & you can pretty much wear anything, as long as it doesn't over-do the bride. I fell in love with this Anthropologie flocked speckle dress a while back, but was so sad when it sold out in my size. Finally, I started doing a little online searching & scored this blue summer dress on ebay for a whopping $75. I was ecstatic & pretty smitten with my find. I have already worn this cobalt blue dress a few times this summer & will be rockin' it at the wedding N + I will be attending at the end of the month. The great thing about this cobalt blue dress is you can dress it up with a pair of black or nude heels for a wedding or night out. On the weekends, you can pair it with a some sandals or flats. Either way, I love this dress!
