As you all know I love makeup. I have more than I know what to do with & am constantly looking for the next best thing. One of my most loved beauty products in my beauty cabinet is my concealer(s) (besides my mascara of course!). Each one has a special purpose & can be used for multiple things ... not just concealing under the eye. When picking out concealers it is important to know which products you should get, what colors you should get because it all depends on what you will be using it for. This is called 'Concealer Wardrobing' - a technique that professionals use to help create a flawless look for their clients. Below are some new + coveted favorites that can all be purchased at Ulta Beauty.
RED SPOTS & BLEMISHES
Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer 'Light' • I have never used Amazing Cosmetics before & after trying this concealer I am hooked. It is super concentrated & offers great coverage, especially for covering up dark unwanted circles under the eyes.
IT Cosmetics Bye Bye UnderEye Concealer 'Light' • This is an absolute favorite concealer of mine that I have been using for awhile now. This concealer is super concentrated as well, has great staying power & will even help brighten up the eye.
IT Cosmetics CC+ Eye Color Correcting Full Coverage Cream • I love IT Cosmetics & wear the CC+ Cream almost daily. This CC+ Color Corrector is a great addition to have in my beauty bag & find that is does a great job of covering up dark circles & facial blemishes. The cold spoon technology helps diminish puffy circles & tighten the skin to give a more wide-awake complexion.
UNDER EYE BRIGHTENER
BECCA Under Eye Brightening Corrector • This creme corrector helps brighten under the eye. What I love most is that it doesn't crease or settle into wrinkles & sets perfectly for any concealer you want to add on top.
BareMinerals Well-Rested Face & Eye Brightener • If you want to add a bit of radiance to your skin or eye area then this is the product for you. I tend to use this around the corners of my eyes, my lips & nose.
Amazing Cosmetics Perfection Stick 'Medium' • All those unwanted blemishes that you despise can be hidden away with this little perfection stick. You want it to be a little on the darker side so that it evens out your skin tone. If you have a lighter shade you can it as a highlighter. A huge plus it the pencil is self-sharpening.
BareMinerals Correcting Concealer 'Light 2' • I went a little darker with this concealer, as I use it to help even out dark spots on my forehead, cheeks & under my eyes. I like how creamy & lightweight the formula is & how nicely it blends into the skin.
Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer • I wasn't sure about waterproof concealers but all the hype about this one is 100% on point. I use it under my eyes to help covered my dark circles, but also use it to touch up dark spots on my face. What I love most about this concealer (besides the fact that it is long-lasting) is that it also has a luminous factor that helps offset the dark/hyperpigmented spots.
CONCEALER AS A HIGHLIGHTER
Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer 'Fair Neutral' • This concealer is super lightweight & offers amazing build-able coverage, without looking caked on. I use the lightest shade possible, one because I have fair skin but two so that I can dab it on to highlight areas that need a little bit of brightening - like my nose & lips, especially after I use a dark lipstick.
