Tan skin, subtle freckles & a pop of color -- my idea of the perfect summer look. As soon as the weather starts to warm up my freckles naturally start to pop & when that happens I tend to stop wearing lots of product & gravitate towards light airy matte foundations and rosey pink + coral shades of color on my cheeks. Adding color to your cheeks helps make your cheekbones look higher and shimmery shades make your skin look for radiant. So far this Spring, I have added quite a bit of blushes too my collection (probably too many to be honest) & thought it would be a good time to share them all with you. Be sure to check out my favorites below & share what blush products you are currently loving!
Zoeva Luxe Color Blush 'Gentle Touch'* - This Zoeva blush is one of my favorites & the color is beautiful. It is a soft pink that offers a radiant glow instantly with a velvety satin finish. You don't need to apply a lot of powder to get a natural look, but with each application you can easily add more color.
Clinique Cheek Pop Blush 'Melon Pop' - I picked up this vibrant shade a couple weeks ago from Sephora + having been wearing it a ton. I find that the size itself is a little small for my liking but when swept on the apples of the cheeks with a blush brush the color is easily buildable with each application. There are so many different shades in the cheek pop collection if this isn't the shade for you, I can guarantee you can find one that you will like.
Vintage Cosmetics Blush + Brighten Face Palette* - These colors are absolutely gorgeous and what I love most is that the palette offers a soft dusky pink color for a subtle touch of glow or a bright poppy pink for a pop of color. The shades can be worn together or separate and the finish is matte.
M•A•C Beauty Powder 'Alpha Girl' - This matte finish peachy blush is everything I want and more for a Spring/Summer blush. Whenever I wear this color it gets me in the mood for summer. It goes on super clean and provides just the right shade of peach for your cheeks. This peachy hue is super versatile & goes well with just about any skin tone.
Clarins "Blush Prodige" Illuminating Cheek Color* - This soft rosey blush is absolutely gorgeous in the packaging and on your cheek bones. There is a mixture of different shades & finishes to give you an instant, healthy glow that is natural looking.
