August Beauty Favorites

August Beauty Favorites

I can hardly grasp the fact that summer will be coming to an end + that we are starting one of my favorite seasons .. Fall.  August was filled with new + can't live without favorites & I am 100% positive that I will still be living in products that give a great summertime glow well into Fall.

Clarins Beauty Flash Balm • I never want to live without this product EVER again. Days when I forget to apply this I get mad at myself because my skin knows that it is missing something important. This product offers so much - a dose of moisture that provides my skin with a nice glow, it tightens making my pours look healthy + firm, & it acts as a great base primer before applying my foundation in the mornings. Def. a product you should try if you haven't!

Hourglass, Ambient Lighting Palette* • Thanks to Jaclyn Hill, this palette has been used daily over the last several weeks. I purchased this awhile back & forgot how much I loved it until recently. It offers the perfect amount of glow to my cheek bones, my eyes, my brow bone or the top of my nose. Faith & I joke about how obsessed we are with the palette ... it's a "can't live without it" product & I will def. make sure that I purchase a backup before it gets discontinued.

IT Cosmetics Powder Brush* • This incredibly soft powder brush has been on constant rotation. I love how tapered it is & use it to apply blush to my cheeks bone or add a dash of glow to my inner eye or nose. I also use it to apply lucent powders to give my skin a mattifying look. I hope to add a couple more of their brushes to my collection here soon.

OPI, 'A Great Opera-tunity' • I am on an OPI nail kick & this peachy-nude color from the Fall collection is absolutely gorgeous.

Jouer Luminizing Moisture Tint* I have heard so many wonderful things about this moisturizing tint & was excited to give it a try. This product is super light weight & when I need just a tad bit of color with a touch of shimmer, I grab this moisturizing. I love how smooth is goes on & my face doesn't look or feel cakey.

Jouer Long Wear Creme Mousse Eyeshadow 'Dusk'* •  I have been loving eyeshadow pots lately. This shade looks dark in the packaging but goes on light and shimmery. The color is easily buildable & offers a smooth, velvety finish.

Jouer Cream Tint in 'Bare'* •  For a quick flush of color on my cheek bones or lips, this has been my go-to product. It is super bendable & offers a nice touch of color without being overly sticky.

Tata Harper Nourishing Oil Cleanser • Last week, I ran out of my eye makeup remover & was desperate to find anything that would take off my water proof mascara. I was rummaging through my box of samples and came across this oil cleanser. It is AUHMAZING. I apply about 2-3 pumps of oil, followed by a splash of warm. I use circular motions to help massage in the oil to help break up the mascara. I then take a warm muslin cloth to help remove the excess mascara. The cleanser both removes my mascara without being overly harsh on my lashes/eyes & it helps moisturize my skin.
