Can you believe that we are almost through May? I seriously can't. The saying is true April Showers, Bring May flowers & that is exactly what happened here in DC. The weather has been gorgeous but super hot & the flowers are in full bloom. I need to pretend I have a green thumb & head to the local Home Depot to pick up some flowers for the front yard before it get's too too hot to plant any. Talking about flowers, I love a good floral lace skirt. This one is super comfy & well under $50. I have worn this skirt to work numerous times & have paired it with stripes, peachy pink hues & of course leopard. I have rounded up some other floral lace skirts below .. all under $50. And be sure to check out the other Bloggers Who Budget girls floral favorites .. they all rocked them this month. See you back here tomorrow with a new beauty post! xo

If you are thinking "what the heck are you doing with no jacket on & snow on the ground you crazy girl" then you are spot on because I am one crazy june bug! Faith & I decided to brave the cold this past weekend & while I was getting my pictures taken I am pretty sure my entire neighborhood thought I was a tad bit off my rocker. But guys, it was totally worth showing you all what I am wearing on my first day of work! When I spotted this striped midi dress on Saturday, I knew I had to have it. I feel so sophisticated & grown up but at the same time I feel like I am a little kid again...You know, since I have planned out my entire outfit, hair style, makeup & of course packed my lunch. & I told Faith that I want to have N take my picture in the morning before I leave for work because this day has go to be documented. Anyways, I am nervous as all get out for my first day. I am sure last night I didn't sleep a wink & that I dreamt about all the horrible things that could possibly happen. BUT positive thinking y'all, nothing bad it going to happen & I am going to keep telling myself to "work it girl" as I walk to work this morning with my headphones on blasting uptown funk. Keep me in your thoughts & be sure to stop by tomorrow to see what my February Beauty Favorites are.

Last month, The Bloggers Who Budget girls styled their favorite prints & patterns for under $100 & today we are back to share with you our favorite Denim looks under $75. I love a good pair of denim (I practically wear them every day) but I also love a good denim dress, especially one that is only $28! If you remember, I styled this perfect denim dress a few months back during the winter with a pair of black leggings, burgundy pumps & a kelly green bag. I love the versatility of a cute denim dress. Throw on a pair of sneakers if you are going for a more casual look or dress it up like I did with a simple brown leather clutch & leopard pumps. This casual look was perfect for an afternoon of shopping in the city with Faith.
Be sure to stop by all the other ladies blogs to see how they are styling Denim under $75.
