fall festive blanks + beliefs ///

1.   Nothing says fall like    scarfs, college football saturdays, crunchy leaves under my feet, mittens, warm socks, coffee, snuggling under the sheets cause its 70 degrees in the house, pumpkin everything, etc.

2.   My favorite autumnal tradition is  going to the pumpkin patch. I am such a little kid when it comes to any kind of tradition, but I LOVE going to the pumpkin patch -- & I don't mean some rinky dink side of the road place -- I mean a pumpkin patch that offers hayrides because its in the middle of nowhere. Hopefully I will be able to go this year!

3.  My favorite fall treat is  pumpkin pie. yummo in the tummo. SOOOO good, especially the homemade kind.

4. Fall makes me think of    traditions + family time   because   this time of year is when all the holidays start flying in -- we got Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Years {even tho I assosciate that with winter too, i guess depending on where you live & the weather}. As I am getting older I am realizing just how important it is to be thankful for all the family traditions that I have & being able to spend them with my family. I cherish these moments the most.

5.  Autumn free form word association, go!   I am pretty sure this will be my double free form word association bc I think I already did it in question one, but here we go AGAIN /// pumpkins, fire places, wool blankets, crisp air, changing of colors, orange, red, purple, & mustard, apple cider, PSL, homemade soup + chilli, THE LIST COULD GO FOREVER!.

6.  My go-to outfit in the fall is    a tunic or dress, leggings/tights, boots, + and scarf. super comfy outfit is all i need!

7.  My favorite fall holiday is (Halloween or Thanksgiving)   Thanksgiving. This is such a special time of year for me because we get to spend it in Charleston SC with my mom's side of the family. I love being able to partake in all the yummy food that my family cooks {which means EAT tons, like 3 servings}, pass out on the couch, watch all the football games + play football out in the front yard. We also go to my grandfathers house out on the water & have a yearly oyster roast -- now I am not a fan of oysters {last year was actually my first time trying one = YUCK} but I love the fire pit, the cold chilly air, hanging with family, listening to stories, & having a few ice-cold brewhahas. II is absolutely the best time of the year!!!!! Can't wait for this year!

1. That it's ok to sleep with 20 pillows {well I'm exaggerating a little bit, but really} because they make me feel like I'm not alone.

2. That you can NEVER have too many pairs of jeans -- you don't even want me to count the number I have. ha

3. In eating an entire burger + cheese fries + a whole bunch of beers is good for the soul. Hey I don't do it alllll the time!

4. That KINDNESS kills. Truly -- you can break someone down by killing them with kindness.

5. that you should learn to embrace who you are as an individual, a woman, a mother, a daughter, ETC -- because it is what we have. & if we learn to embrace + love ourselves we will in turn be able to let others love us the way we deserve.
